Villages of Dash Salagdi and Tovuz in Azerbaijan, on the outskirts of the Kazak region, are home to some of the most unique Kazak rugs. These rugs are usually presented in various shades of red and blue with geometric medallions within a double-niche design. This is an antique (early 1900s) Tovuz Kazak with signs of wear and tear and some old repairs but with great colours and very fine shiny pile. Size 190x108cm
