Afshar bag face. 1890-1910 or so. Great and unusual animal figure. Looks like a kind of pheonix. The wool is incredibly soft and the colors are all natural. There are two strong blues, darker in the pheonix and lighter in the two medalions. Human and smaller animal figures abound throughout. No repairs apparent. 40 x 30 cm.
