We try to classify this antique rug but unfortunately we can't
it is Beautifully designed 100% wool foundation circa 1900's Soft meaty tuch
mostly full pile some spots lower area's symmetrical and mostly asymmetrical knots,
probably North West Area because the wool and the edge finishing and the color combination.. but not sure because the design seems to me very early Khorrassan area patern with asymmetrical knots
Very decorative and for Sale..size about 300 x 210 cm
....
Just have a mail from a antique rug enthusiast from Canada that this piece is a Chahar Mahal area rug
by village called Baba Heidar
