Antique Calcha poncho from Bolivia. Late 19th century or very early 20th century. Very finely woven. All wool. Beautiful colors, which are probably natural.
Good condition for age with some small holes (The largest one is in a corner. See the third photograph.), abrasions, edge wear, fringe loss and minor stains.
See the photographs, which were taken outdoors without a flash on a cloudy day.

Size: 51-1/4” wide x 57-1/2” long at centers; neck opening is 16” long, but there is about 3” of the randa seam thread, which is missing.
