The black color is oxidized, vegetable dyes, the knots are hand spun lamb wool, the warp and the weft threads are mixed with wool and goat hair, the shirazi borders are woven on two lines, the two edges are finished with a tiny kelim, certain places the pile is used, high standard quality and in its original shape.
Almost a similar example was published in the catalog of "Oriental Rugs of the Hajji Babas", on page 44.
