Back
Antique Fereghan / Farahan / Ferahan rug. Late 19th century to early 20th century. Beautiful design with interesting small secondary borders. Most colors are probably natural though one end has a different orange that is brighter on the back. Village production with some variation in width. Nice soft abrash in camel colored field. Clean(washed by hand).
Good condition for its age. Ends secured. Needs attention to the selvages, which were machine bound at some point, but most of this has been removed. 1” split on one edge, some end loss into small secondary borders, some fold wear, minor stains.
See the photographs, which were taken outdoors without a flash on a cloudy day.
i do not accept returns, so please ask questions, and if desired, request more photographs. If you would like more photographs, please message me.
