This 19th century antique Peking Chinese Oriental rug measures 3’0” x 4’9”. It is a fantastic one of a kind Peking Chinese rug with a telescopic view of a town street with a three story building on the right facing a two story building with a narrow street going down the middle of them leading out to a panoramic view of mountains and rivers and two pagodas. The cobblestone street is worked in brown. The buildings are in peach, ivory and blue which are the only colors in the rug. The border has a very simple motif of bamboo, lotus flowers and leafs.
