This circa 1920 Art Deco Chinese rug measures 8’11” x 11’5”. It is the darkest teal green with a red border. It has a rockery in the lower left hand corner in yellow , purple and shades of green out of which is sprouting a huge double trunk tree with foliage spilling over into the border. There are blossoms coming out of the branches through which can be seen a full yellow moon. This rug is a perfect example of tropical deco. It has beautiful bubblegum colors that really snap. The rug is full pile. The ends and sides are complete. It is essentially mint condition. The buyer pays the shipping and insurance.
