It has a fantastic bittersweet field with three round medallions in very pale green and aubergine with touches of yellow and gold. There is Chinese fretwork in the corners. The inner border is aubergine with Chinese fretwork. The major border has a bittersweet ground with flower heads in yellow, gold and ivory with a scrolling vine design. The outer border is typical Yarkand wave design. The rug has good pile. The ends and sides are complete. It is clean and ready to go.
