Kungrat Bugzhoma/Bohcha, Late 19th Century/1900. Used to wrap up clothing in the round yurt or mudbrick dwelling. Beautiful rich crimson red seven-panel ground weave joined together. Silk embroidery in vibrant natural colors in zoomorphic and/or fertility designs. There is a synthetic pink in the supplementary band and the tassles may also be synthetically dyed or dyed with yarlang which gives a blue-grey color. There are two small, well done repairs in the ground. a rare and fascinating ethnographic piece. 155 x 176 cm.
