#7162 Antique Peking Chinese Rug This circa 1910 Peking Chinese rug measures 11’1” x 12’9”. It has a medallion in a circle with vines in blue, ivory, and pale brown to gold. It has nicely worked corners in a very open and flowing Chinese fretwork and flowers motif. It has a minor border in tobacco brown with a blue and ivory pearl motif. The next border out is the wand motif border in blue and ivory. The main border has scrolling flower and vine motif on a golden ground. The last minor border its Greek key design. This rug is 99% full pile with a very pleasing typically Chinese design. The ends and sides are complete. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays for shipping with insurance.
