Antique Caucasian Talish long rug with abrashed indigo blue field. www.knightsantiques.co.uk Size: 8ft 2in x 3ft 8in (250 x 113cm). Late 19th century. The rug has a classic Talish design and border, the change in colour (abrash) half way through the rug adds visual interest. The use of yellow in the small reciprocal design on the edge of the blue field is a nice feature. The rug is in good condition with even wear and medium pile, there are a few old repairs that are hard to find. Hand washed and ready for use or display. Stock Number: r-1796.
