Japanese Abstract Woodblock Print by Kurosaki Akira
Japanese abstract print, titled "Flame Tracer" # 42/90 in its series. Hand signed by the artist Kurosaki Akira (b. 1937). Embossed with print studio logo.
Akira Kurosaki began studying at the Kyoto Institute of Technology in 1956 and earned his ba degree in 1962. He worked part time as a teacher until 1968. Works by Kurosaki have been displayed in the Kyoto City Art Museum, National Museum of Modern Art in Tokyo, the Victoria and Albert Museum of London, Bibliotheque nationale in Paris, National Museum of Krakow, Museum of Modern Art in New York, and the Library of Congress in Washington.
