Back
Han Dynasty pottery head of a female court attendant. a lovely face with sensitive features, original red pigments on face, this image embodies the most classic style of Han sculpture. There is an iron armature in the neck that was most likely part of a new restoration. Special offer: if you are a clever bunny and have deft hands at restoration I’ll include the entire image for an additional $50.00. The head and body appear to be “matched” but am not sure if they are marred. i acquired this piece “as is”, am selling it as such, so please examine the enlargements carefully. i would like to see this go to a good home, to someone who will restore her. The image is nude- originally this would have been clothed in fine courtly attire, but after 2000 years of burial, they have since decomposed. Head h: 9cm/3.5in~ total: 53cm/20.cm.
