Antique South West Persian Qashqai tribal horse cover. www.knightsantiques.co.uk Size: 5ft 0inx 4ft 9in (153 x 145cm) excluding tassels. Circa 1900. The cover is on an ivory plain weave ground decorated with piled weaving with shrubs, flowers animals and people. Note the beautiful line of dancing ladies at the lower end. The cover is in original condition with some wear and signs of use, it has not been washed and still has slight discolouration due to horse sweat etc. A superb collectible display item.
