#7558 Antique Heriz Persian Rug
This circa 1910 antique Heriz Oriental Carpet measures 6’10” x 13’9” (210 x 423 cm). This to my eye is a unique Heriz. i have never seen this design in a Heriz before. The field motif is a boteh design in multi colors. Each boteh contains a different flower vase with three flowers in it. The botehs are separated by an indescribable motif which has the flavor of a Zili Sultan but not so much. The border is quite nice. It is a turtle border on a light sky blue ground with reciprocal minor borders in a floral motif. The rug is in excellent condition. It is a little bit low in the major border at the top of the rug but the foundation doesn’t show, it is just starting to get low. This rug is truly unique and stunning. The ends and sides are complete. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping with insurance of $150.00.https://antiqueorientalrugs.com/product/7558-antique-heriz-persian-rug/
