This circa 1890 antique Fereghan Sarouk Oriental Carpet #7631measures 5’9’ x 8’0” (179 x 243 cm). It has a beautifully drawn Herati motif in pale blue and rust on a dark blue ground. The Herati is drawn on two ways. Look closely and you will see it. The field is encompassed with two reciprocal borders of pistachio green foliage on a yellow ground. The major border is composed of a combination floral and shield motif connected by a rust meander on a pistachio green ground. The rug is full pile with complete ends and sides. It is in essentially perfect condition. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping which includes insurance of $95.00
