This circa 1920 Art Deco Chinese Oriental #7632 rug measures 8’7” x 11’4” (267 x 347 cm). The motif is absolutely fantastic! Growing out of a rockery in the lower right corner of the rug is a group of flowering plants in green, blue, yellow, ivory and purple and a huge knar led black tree with leafs in the same colors rising out of a rockery and disappearing into the green border of the rug and appearing again in the upper right hand corner. It has branches filled with leafs in several shades of green, blue, pink, silver and yellow. In the bottom left hand corner is a massive growth of flowers with lots of pink and blue coming up into the bottom third of the deep red field containing two beautifully drawn butterflies and a small bird in flight on the edge of the green border coming into the field into another mass of flowers. The entire rug is essentially full pile. The ends and sides are complete. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping which includes insurance https://antiqueorientalrugs.com/product/7632-art-deco-chinese-rug/
