a beautiful antique Uzbek silk suzani from 19th century Bukhara. Boasting a rich floral field design with an array of palmettes, interspersed with vines and smaller floral repertoires. The borders have large quadrant flowers contrasting with the asymmetrical filed design. Gorgeous and very fine silk chain stitched on a cotton ground known as Karbos. The gorgeous colours are all natural dyes. It is in clean antique state. There are some abrasion of embroidery as seen on the photos, but there is enough not to distract the design. It has a reasonable price. It is offered at a very reasonable price. size 170cm x 107 (66” x 42”).
