This is a classic example of a Sarouk rug, well drawn with good colour. The deep indigo blue medallion stands out well on the soft red ground. The field is filled with floral sprays. The border design is very detailed and is in soft golds and greens.
Full pile with very slight wear, very fine soft lambs wool.
Hand washed and ready for use or display. a superb rug that would grace any room.
Size: 6ft 7in x 4ft 7in (200 x 140cm).
