Antique Caucasian Seichur rug with star and lattice design. www.knightsantiques.co.uk
Circa 1880.
This charming rug has a dark indigo blue field covered with a fine diamond lattice, with each diamond containing a eight pointed star. The stars are of differing colours and designs. The rug has a beautiful border in typical Seichur colouring with a floral rosette design.
The rug is in excellent condition with even wear and medium pile. The rug is of fine weave.
The rug is suitable for light domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
Size: 5ft 5in x 3ft 4in (165 x 102cm).
