Rare antique two paneled bed cover from the Daizu ethnic minority of Southern Yunnan, China. An unusual piece with very fine silk embroidery and woven field with what may be hemp/ramie handspun threads, as it has a slightly coarser and stiff feel than standard cotton thread. i would date this circa 19th century with natural dyes.
