Circa 1890. a superb Caucasian rug with a single vertical row of three 'Lesghi Stars', Superb colour and fine Shirvan like weave. The border is of note with the unusual white box half way up on the left hand side, this contains a serrated leaf design. Note also the numerous small animals throughout the field. a sweet rug of small size with a jewel like quality. Excellent condition, even wear with medium low pile.
