Size: 5ft 5in x 2ft 11in (164 x 90cm).
Circa 1900.
a good Baluch rug with a diamond lattice design with mina khani (many flowers) type floral design, surrounded by the large boat border. The colours are excellent with electric blues, deep aubergine, madder red, ivory and black. The small white flowers really stand out against the midnight indigo blue field.
The rug is in good condition with even wear and medium pile. There is some corrosion to the blacks and browns as one would expect.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
