Study Piece: Timuri Main Carpet acquired some many moons back from Lars up in Lulea, Sweden. Fair to poor condition but magical drawing and what color remains is lovely. Here is how it was described, "Very old Baluch main carpet, hard wear, some holes fixed with parts from old kelims, pile rugs and weft float textiles. The red colour is very good, a lot of different blue hues too. Both the main and secondary borders looks like the borders in the Azadi, plate one rug, maybe not as old as that rug, but still at least mid 19th. c. About 185x235 cm. It has kelim in only one end."
