Antique Peking Chinese Oriental Rug #7924
This circa 1900 Peking Chinese rug measures 7’11” x 11’5”. It has a beautiful peach colored field with a circular floral medallion with two parrots facing each other. There are ten sprays of flowers throughout the field and four sprays which contain two birds each. The inner border consists of three rhomboids in each corner with different icons. As you go up the light blue inner border you’ll see birds, more rhomboids, floral representations, more birds, and etcetera. The outer border is dark blue with meandering vines and flower motif. The colors are pink, blue, brown, and grey silver. This rug is full pile. The ends and sides are complete. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping which includes insurance of $150.00.
