#5935 Antique Ningxia Chinese Rug This circa 1800 Ningxia antique Chinese Oriental Carpet measures 2’11” x 5’2”. It has a center medallion in ivory with a blue center with either blue or pink chrysanthemums in the corners of the field. There are flower sprigs in pale yellow and two shades of blue. The medallion is flanked by two butterflies all on a fabulously clear yellow field. There is a wave border at each end. There is some wear in the field of the rug commensurate with it’s age.
