#5952 Antique Art Deco Chinese Rug
This Vintage 1930’s Art Deco rug measures 9’ x 11’10”. It has more the feel of Art Nouveau than Art Deco. The ivory field is completely covered in intertwining flowering vines. The main color of the vines is three shades of blue. The leaves and flowers are done in very pale yellow and at one time a very pale lavender which over the years has faded to a very pale brown. This is all encompassed with lotus blossoms in blue and ivory on a trellis design on a very pale peach background with a nice wide apron completely enclosing the entire rug. This rug is to my eye in perfect condition. The shipping charge to the buyer is $150.
