Early complete large Veramin bags. Rare original pair with classic banded pile design and very old leather reinforcements in the bridge and tabs. Overall mostly good pile with some obvious scattered small damages. i see a couple thumbnail size hole, one crudely sewn up. All excellent natural colors. Original colorful striped back, few dings as shown. As found from a local home, very dirty, in need of a good wash. I’ve seen a number of this type and i believe this one is the oldest i have encountered. The patina on the leather is wonderful. 3rd qtr. 19th c. 22” x 50”
