Antique pair of complete south Persian flat woven mixed technique bags. Interesting and elegant field design. This original pair is in remarkably untouched condition with nice supple handle. All good natural colors. Original fancy selvages, closure tabs and loops in soumak or some wrapped technique. The field i am told is brocade. Original back looks dirty and has a few little damages. Uncommon and as found, probably look even better with a good wash. Good age. 19th c. 19” x 35”
