Circa 1900. Size: 6ft 5in x 4ft 0in (195 x 122cm).
The rug has an indigo blue field which is covered with a floral vine design, sitting within the flowers are a number of birds, probably chickens and two large peacocks at the lower end. The ivory border is beautifully drawn with flowers and again a number of birds amongst the flowers.
The rug is in excellent condition with even wear and medium pile.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
