a small collection of 17th century Safavid carpet fragments woven in the 'Vase' technique. Each from different carpets, offering an overview of specific Vase carpet patterns, both for field as well as borders. The fragments are all professionally stabilized on a cotton backing and mounted on a wooden stretcher. Sizes vary between 41 x 38 cm to 96 x 72 cm.
