Edirne Metallic Thread and Silk Panel, Late 19th Century. The metallic thread appears to be silver or mostly silver. The silk is dyed in natural dyes. It is complete and in tact with a little fraying of the border filigree work in one small section. The central medallion is flanked by a small European style dragon-like figure or a kind of fish on each side. 61 x 64 cm.
