Mino - old Japanese rain cape from over 100 years ago, made of bark of Japanese linden and cotton. This style of mino is called "Date Gera". Gera is voiced sound of "Kera" which is a regional dialect of mino in north east area of Japan. Kera used be daily wear f of farmers, however, the decorative ones like this Date gera were worn in special ocasion.
