Turkish Runner 3’0” x 9’7” #7869
This circa 1930 Turkish runner measures 3’0” x 9’7”. The center field is a pale red color with a lattice work design where every opening in the lattice is filled with a flower. The top of the rug contains an abrash covering ½ of the major border continuing into the rug. This is not a stain. It is in the rug. The major border has bouquets of flowers in orange, pale green and red on a navy ground. On either side of the major border there are two reciprocal borders on a pale green to ivory ground with meandering vine and flower motif. The rug has good pile all over. One end is missing for 6” one row of knots. Otherwise, the ends and sides are complete. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping which includes insurance of $75.00.
