Interesting Turkish piece of work...The kind of piece that makes one scratch one's head. Is it of Ushak/Ghiordes, Ottoman/Istanbul, or Kayseri origin? Silk pile. Difficult to determine structure as the piece was mounted on linen- appears to be an old mounting. Foundation likely has some cotton- brittle/cracking. It is likely a 19th c copy, but may be older. With the backing it is difficult to ascertain. Measures: 67 1/2" x 48 1/2
