Antique Caucasian seichour rug. The usual wild and crazy field but in an unusually large size. Good weave with blanket like handle. Overall even low pile with heavy brown oxidation and scattered wear as shown. All good natural colors. Remnant original selvages. i don’t see any repairs. Small palm sized near circular spot of paint or something on the surface (i did not attempt to clean). As found, dirty, ready for a good wash. Good age, ca. 1880 or earlier. 4’2” x 7’10”
