Back
a purple “Yomut" chuval, 44 inches by 30 inches. All good colors, superb condition. Unusual secondary gul composed of 4 diamonds. Eight colors, including a pretty green. These images were taken with my iPhone in direct sunlight. i bought this 8 year ago from a Germany collector, who called it “Abdal”, a Turkmen group that German collectors can apparently discern, but i don’t know how to diagnose. It has marker knots. The third image shows some marker knots—some in the elem and two white ones directly above those in the “running dog” minor borders. The fourth image also shows marker knots, marching upward through the left part of the main guls,-- mostly white knots, but one red one in the white ground of the gul-quarter. If you are interested and would like to see higher-resolution images please email and i will send some.
