a interesting design on a Baluch prayer rug from Western Afghanistan, the lattice is a repeat bird head design with hooked guls.
The rug is in fair condition with some losses to the ends, there are also a few old repairs. There is some corrosion to the browns as one would expect. The rug has even wear and good pile of glossy wool. The rug will still stand up to floor use. The condition of the rug is reflected in the price.
The rug has been hand washed and ready for use or display.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
