Serapi Heriz Persian, knotted circa in 1890, antique, collector's item, 382 x 280 (cm) 12' 6" x 9' 2" carpet id: P-4496
The knots are hand spun lamb wool, the black knots are oxidized, the background color is warm rust, the center medallion is terracotta, the four corners are soft yellow, the surrounded large border is indigo, the selvages are woven on two lines, thick pile except up both sides of the center medallion the pile is slightly short, in good condition, soft, high standard quality and in its original shape.
