Hajijelili Tabriz Persian knotted circa in 1910, antique, collector's item, 334 x 247 (cm) 10' 11" x 8' 1" carpet id: P-6194
The knots are hand spun lamb wool, the selvages are woven on three lines with wool,the black knots are oxidized, the background and the surrounded large border are terracotta, the center medallion and the four corners are ivory, very finely knotted, up left side corner has a water damage a hole 5x7 cm to be repaired the rest part is in order, thick pile in good condition, soft as an handkerchief and high standard quality.
