#7697 Ivory Sarouk Antique Persian Rug 9’11” x 13’3″
This circa 1930 Persian Sarouk handmade Oriental Rug measures 9’11” x 13’3” (308 x 405 cm). It has an overall design with a small medallion and a very crowded motif consisting of flowers, flowers and a few more flowers! The colors are rose, red, Wedgewood blue, navy blue and tobacco on a ground which is white as snow. The major border has meandering vines and flowers which are in the same colors as the field motif on a red ground. The rug has six minor borders which are all different renderings of a floral motif on either a rust, ivory or blue ground. This rug is full pile. The ends and sides are complete. It is in mint condition. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping which includes insurance of $200.
