Antique large early south Persian bagface, possibly qashqai. Lovely example of an uncommon type. Nice fine weave. Soft supple handle. All excellent natural colors. Mostly decent even pile with scattered wear as shown. Edges rough with some original selvage. Several shallow gouges and residual glue on the edges and corners, probably from old tape as far as i can tell. Dirty as found. i have not tried to clean but i think it will with a good cleaning. Good age, 3rd qtr. 19th c. 27” x 35”
