Antique small Baluch rug with a “snowflake” type design and turkman “boat” border. Very good natural color featuring a rich ember red ample white highlights and a deep blue ground. Overall decent glossy pile with moderately oxidized browns. Reasonably clean. i see a couple tiny penny sized old crude repairs. Oddly although one side has original goat hair selvage the other side is trimmed down and crudely backed with some sort of tape. Not perfect but still quite an attractive Baluch weaving. 19th c. 2’11” x 4’6”
