Antique Art Deco Chinese Rug 8’10” x 11’7″
This circa 1920 Art deco Chinese rug measures 8’10’ x 11’7”. It has an urn of flowers with two tables with urns of flowers in the center of a raspberry open field, all encompassed with four borders in butterscotch, raspberry, gray and navy blue. The border design is scrolling vines, flowering urns, small tables with fans, books and potted plants. Each side of the border has two large orbs in green and blue or gold and blue. The flowers in the border edge into the field in a very graceful manner. The rug is full pile. It is woven using Manchester wools The ends and sides are complete and original. The rug is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping and insurance of $150.
