Two Ming Dynasty embroidery fragments, one on a yellow twill ground, and the other on a white damask ground. The yellow piece portrays birds in the branches of a plum tree surrounded by blossoms. There is some damage to the stitching of one of the birds. The white ground piece is a garden scene with tables and jardinieres, and various flower blossoms.
