Antique Caucasian shirvan rug with a somewhat uncommon field paired with a nicely drawn Kufic border. Overall even very low pile with scattered wear and oxidation. All natural colors including nice yellow highlights. Rewrapped selvages. As found, hanging on a New England wall, in need of a good wash. Good age, ca. 1875 or earlier. 4’ x 5’5”
