Antique Caucasian Kazak prayer rug with several very interesting features. Unusual eye catching ivory main border and an even more unusual minor border. All good natural colors including a strong tomato red, nice blue/greens, ample yellow highlights. Overall fair condition for an older weaving. Low pile with oxidized browns. Original selvages. Ends secured. Reasonably clean. Hard to find true collector quality Kazak pieces anymore. Good age, 1870 or earlier. 3’8” x 4’10”
