Antique Baluch camel ground prayer rug with spacious drawing and unusually saturated colors. As good an ember red as i have seen. Iconic tree of life flanked by narrow floral motifs and interesting Turkman guls above and below. a tiny animals included for good measure. Overall good pile with some scattered light wear and an old crude small repair patch in upper right corner. Fine original end kelims. Original selvages, some rewrapping. All natural colors. Reasonably clean. a weaving i have kept for many years. Great diminutive size. a true collector piece. Good age, ca. 1875 or earlier. 2’7” x 3’11”
