Northwest/ Kurd/ Heriz c. 1900-- 4 x 6.10-- If this were on cotton rather than wool foundation i might call it Heriz based on weave which is double weft and depressed warp, fairly identical to a Heriz. The design is tribal. Tempting to pigeonhole it w/ Kurdish but i wonder if there are other ”Shasavan” options ie., Hashtrud. Whatever you call it— Its plush and very pretty.
CONDITION: Note minor attrition of far side outer guard. Also slight flaring on the far end. Aside from this, mostly plush and Very good. Please see all photos. us shipping: $25
